Addition to the Offices of the House of Wellmoore - A Statement from the King of Wellmoore (Valentines Day 2022)

 

A statement from His Majesty, the King of Wellmoore. 


Greetings Wellmooreans, Nexans and Tinakulans as well as other micronationalists this may be read by. 


Yesterday (Sunday, 13th of February), I as Vice Executive of Tinakula met with the Cabinet of the Republic of Tinakula. We discussed for a total of two and a half hours about the future of Tinakula and the Tinakulan Political System. 

After the discussions we held, I and the Prime Executive decided to adjust the national political system to a dual executive system where there are two Presidents of Tinakula. It's with pride I am to announce that the Monarchy of Wellmoore, in addition to the Throne of Wellmoore, now holds the title of Co-President of Tinakula and will hold this title permanently. The Leadership of the Nexan Republic holds the other role in the Co-Presidency. 

In this role I and my Co-President look to create a brighter future for the nation and develop the nation - moving it forward from it's past. 

Along with establishing this, a Constitution for Tinakula has been placed in the works. 

I and the Government of Tinakula hope this will bring great progress to the nation and will aid in its development into a proud and flourishing micronation.

  Appointment of the Lord High Admiral Today King Luke appointed himself Lord High Admiral of Wellmoore in response to the rising pressure and conflict between Ukraine and Russia.  His Majesty appointed himself into this role in accordance with his role of Commander-in-Chief in which he holds the rank of Admiral of the Fleet within the Royal Wellmoorean Navy.  The role of Lord High Admiral allows the officeholder to hold some ceremonial power over the Wellmoorean Navy. Officeholders are appointed by the monarch and officeholders serve at His Majesty's pleasure.  As the King has taken this role alongside his Commander-in-Chief position we can assume that he is planning to ensure Wellmoore and Wellmoorean Citizens are defended and safe from any threats from eastern Europe.  As the nation is limited in what it can do in response to the crisis we are unsure what other decision may also be made to further ensure the safety of the Kingdom.

Opening of the Ministry of the Interior

 Today the Ministry of the Interior was founded in the Wellmoorean Cabinet. The Ministry will assist in the smooth running of Wellmoore and assist in dealing with internal affairs. This has also created the role 'Minister of the Interior', the person who holds this position will be appointed by the Prime Minster like the other cabinet positions.

The Formal Opening of His Majesty's Prison Service

 Today King Luke formally opened HM's Prison Service under the Wellmoorean Ministry of Justice, to assist the previously opened 'Royal Guardhouse'. However the Prison Service will act as a standalone service to the Royal Guardhouse (who work more on punishment) but they will work in unison to help maintain the safety of the nation.  The Prison Service will work on punishment and rehabilitation of any arrested criminals once the nation is fully set up on a land claim.
